Supporting Veterans: Our Ongoing Commitment to Benilde Hall and Beyond

At KC Cattle Company, giving back to our nation’s heroes isn’t a one-time thing—it’s part of who we are. One of the organizations we’ve proudly supported over the years is Benilde Hall’s Safe Haven for Veterans, right here in Kansas City.

This incredible program provides transitional housing, meals, and vital services for homeless veterans who need a safe place to land. Safe Haven offers a low-stress, low-demand environment where veterans can rest, recover, and work toward stability—whether they need a bed for the night or up to six months of support.

While we continue to donate to Benilde Hall, we’ve also expanded our mission to support additional veteran-focused initiatives throughout the year. Our goal is to create meaningful impact across a variety of organizations doing important work—because supporting our community means showing up where we’re needed most.

How Our Donations Help

When we donate beef to Benilde Hall, it helps reduce their food service costs. That means more of their budget can go toward other critical needs like:

• Job training and placement

• Clothing and hygiene items

• Notebooks, supplies, and other personal care essentials

In just one year, Benilde Hall’s Safe Haven program provided over 5,600 nights of shelter and helped more than 40 veterans transition into permanent housing.
