Ingredients (Serves 2-3)
For the Burger Patties:

2-3 brioche buns

Butter or beef tallow (for toasting buns)
For the Beer Gravy:

1 tbsp butter
-
1 tbsp flour
-
1/2 cup stout or dark beer
-
1/2 cup beef broth
-
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
-
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Optional toppings:

Caramelized onions

Sharp cheddar cheese

Cooking Instructions

Form & Season Patties
Divide the Wagyu ground beef into 2 or 3 equal patties. Season both sides generously with Wa-gyu'd Steak Seasoning. Set aside. -
Make the Beer Gravy
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and whisk in flour. Cook for 1-2 minutes to form a roux. Slowly add beer and beef broth while whisking. Add Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened, about 5-7 minutes. -
Cook the Burgers
Heat a skillet or cast iron pan over medium-high heat. Cook patties 3-4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Add cheese in the final minute, if using. -
Toast the Buns
Toast buns cut-side down in butter or beef tallow until golden. -
Assemble the Burger
Place patty on the bottom bun, ladle warm beer gravy over the top, and add any additional toppings. Cap with the top bun and serve immediately.
